Dr. Michael Ridley is Librarian Emeritus at the University of Guelph where for many years he was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Librarian. His research interests are libraries, literacy, machine learning, and explainable AI (XAI). Ridley holds degrees from Guelph (B.A.), UNB (M.A.), Toronto (M.L.S. and M.Ed.), and Western (PhD)..
