David Kemper is the Digital Experience Librarian at McMaster University Library in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As Digital Experience Librarian, he manages the library's many website interfaces, including the library website, while supervising the four-person Digital Experience team, whose purpose is to design, develop, and maintain the library's web and technology infrastructure.

Assessing user needs and addressing ever-changing technology demands, David seeks to deliver user experiences that are seamless and satisfying which support the research, teaching, and learning mission of the library and university.

David is an avid outdoors person who enjoys hiking the many trails of Southern Ontario, photographing the four seasons of Ontario’s breathtaking landscapes, and gazing at the stars at nearby Dark Sky reserves. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, he now lives in Hamilton with his wife Julie and Labradoodle Pixel.
