Access Conference

This session is intended for users who wish to get started on using APIs in their own projects. These can range from querying APIs to enrich data in OpenRefine or Google Sheets, to writing shell or Python scripts, to web applications. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects and discuss them with other participants and help each other out. The instructor will also be available to provide guidance whenever possible. Some prior knowledge of APIs will be useful, e.g. by following the morning introductory session on APIs, but all levels of coding proficiency are welcome and sample projects will be available to those wishing to try things out without embarking into a larger endeavour.Participants wishing to use their own APIs should make sure to obtain access keys or other credentials in advance of the session.
